Punjab and Himachal Pradesh set to vote in final phase of 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Haryana Polls on May 25
The Election Commission of India has announced that the Lok Sabha elections for 2024 will be conducted in seven phases, commencing from April 19. Jammu and Kashmir will see voting spread across five phases, starting with Udhampur on April 19 and concluding with Baramulla on May 20.
Voting phases and constituencies:
In Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, voting for Lok Sabha seats will occur in the final phase on June 1, along with Chandigarh. Haryana will cast its votes for Lok Sabha seats on May 25, with Karnal assembly seat bypolls also scheduled for the same day.

Simultaneous bypolls:
Simultaneous bypolls for assembly seats will be conducted in Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. Himachal Pradesh will witness bypolls in Dharamshala, Lahaul Spiti, Sujanpur, Barsar, Gagret, and Kutlehar assembly seats, coinciding with the Lok Sabha elections on June 1. Additionally, Haryana's Karnal assembly seat, vacated by former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, will also undergo bypolls on May 25. Counting of votes for all constituencies nationwide is scheduled for June 4.
